Course Types (පාඨමාලා වර්ග)
Vocational Training Authority of Sri Lanka currently conducting many types of courses in various islanwide centres.These types are as follows.
ශ්‍රී ලංකා වෘත්තීය පුහුණු අධිකාරියේ පාඨමාලා වර්ග කීපයක් පවත්වනු ලබයි එම පාඨමාලා වර්ග පිලිබඳ විස්තර පහතින් දැක්වේ.

Short term courses (කෙටි කාලින පාඨමාලා)
Short courses offering NVQ certificates developed according to foreign job demand.
දැනට ඉල්ලුම පවතින නිශ්චිත විදේශ රැකියාවක් ඉලක්ක කොට කෙටි කාලීනව පුහුණුව ලබා දෙන NVQ සහතික පිරිනැමෙන පාඨමාලා.

Gap filling courses (ඌන පූර්ණ පාඨමාලා)
People who are currently enaged in a job, but do not have NVQ qualification in their profession, can also update their knowledge according to foreign employment requirement.Further, gap filling courses would help to obtain NVQ certifcate for employees who have relevant industry experience. (NVQ qualification through RPL Process)
කිසියම් වෘත්තීයක දැනටමත් නියැලී සිටින වෘත්තීමය පළපුරුද්දක් තිබෙන එහෙත් NVQ සහතිකයක් නොමැති අය සදහා ස්වකීය දැනුම කුසලතාවය අලුත්කර ගනිමින් විදේශ රැකියාවක් සදහා සහතික කරනු ලබන පාඨමාලාව. (RPL ක්‍රමවේදය යටතේ NVQ සහතිකය).

Refresher courses (යාවත්කාලින පාඨමාලා)
For those who have been engaged in a profession, but intend to go abroad for a job in the same profession, these type of courses will refresh their knowledge and skills and be qualified for the foreign job.
NVQ හෝ වෙනත් සහතිකයක් මත දැනටමත් කිසියම් වෘත්තීයක නියැලී සිටින්නන්ට එම වෘත්තීයේම විදේශ රැකියාවකට යාමට අවශ්‍ය අමතර දැනුම හා කුසලතා පමණක් ලබා දී සහතික නිකුත්කරන පාඨමාලාව
